Scandalous Truth touches on several topics: politics, betrayal, lust, friendship, deceit, forgiveness, faith, and love. It also is filled with suspense and murder. The characters are powerful and the book is thought-provoking without being preachy. The book kept me engrossed from its beginning
to its shocking end.

The characters and the plot are well developed. I truly enjoyed the suspense aspect of the story. It started off a little slow for me, but once all the drama began I could not get enough of these characters. My emotions were so high, that at one point I could not stop the tears. I recommend Scandalous Truth to the reader who wants more than just a Christian fiction book. Readers of suspense will equally appreciate this novel.

The events were very vivid in my mind as I turned each page. I was right there in the book walking every step of the way with Nikki. This story goes back to what the old folks say, "What's done in the dark will one day come to the light". If you got skeletons in your closet, people will find them. Nikki finds herself the talk of the town and nearly destroying her marriage to Will because she didn't have faith in God. Typical everyday people get in a hurry and can't wait on God and his blessings. Nikki's faith in God is restored as it should be. Mrs. Carter, Congratulations to a job well done. — Rose Wright,

Scandalous Truth demonstrates beautifully how each of us has a past that often we would like to forget. The characters in this story are well developed with no question left unanswered.
This novel does not disappoint. I was amazed at how quickly I became engaged not wanting to put the book down. It has all the ingredients, i.e., drama, suspense, murder, politics, Christianity, "home-girl" ethics and etc. for an exciting story.

This book was a very good read. Finished it in about 3-4 days. Didn't really put it down. Another one of those fiction books that could have very well happened in real life.

Monica Carter-Tagore's books are always of award winning caliber. Starting back with her first book As If Nothing Happened, I was hooked on her circular style of writing. It's always seamless. The clues are dropped perfectly throughout the story and her style is never rushed. This story is no exception. As you read along you know what is due to occur as it is part of the synopsis, however, you are always left with your mouth agape at how things turn out. Great message and Good strong Christian Fiction writing Monica... again!
