The characters and the plot are well developed. I truly enjoyed the suspense aspect of the story. It started off a little slow for me, but once all the drama began I could not get enough of these characters. My emotions were so high, that at one point I could not stop the tears. This story goes back to what the old folks say, "What's done in the dark will one day come to the light". If you got skeletons in your closet, people will find them. Nikki finds herself the talk of the town and nearly destroying her marriage to Will because she didn't have faith in God.
